Great work! The Celt warbands look spectacular with the plaids and stripes you painted. Are the shields freehand, transfers, or a mix? (or transfers with freehand added?) They look amazing!

Thanks!  The shields are a mix of Little Big Man Studios (https://www.littlebigmenstudios.com/) and Veni Vidi Vici (https://shop3v.com/) decals, with some freehand highlights and additions.

The added highlights on the shields worked well for blending the styles together, they look cohesive (but n a wildly irregular Celtic sort of way).

Thanks for the kind feedback everyone!  I was worried the differences between the two styles of transfers would be really noticeable with my Gauls (I'm my own worst critic), so I'm glad to hear everyone feels things look fine in the end.

So this project got stalled out for a bit as a water leak put the painting desk out of commission for quite awhile, but I'm now back with some more units: Gallic and Italian cavalry
