Studio Miniatures Horror...
« on: June 17, 2024, 03:28:04 PM »
...Where I purchased them from, but now available from Hayland Terrain

Very pleased how they turned out especially as they are on the smaller-side of 28mm.   ::)

Great fun, matt Bickley sculpts, full of character :-*

Great work! I especially like the Creature from the Black Lagoon!   ......and now I have the Dave Edmonds song running through my head.
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Nice painting!

Hmm.  At first glance, these look like they could do nicely for the board game Horrified.  But the Mummy, Count, and Creature just look a bit odd though.

What interesting sculpts, you are set for almost any pulp encounter now with all those classic monsters.

Thanks.   :)

They are so... colourful!

Yes.   ::)  Although many of the original movies were Black and White the related marketing material and advertising posters for the Cinemas were very colourful, so I took some inspiration from them.  Apart from the Phantom.  There is a poster with Lon Chaney in a red cape, but he's in the water, so I stuck with black and the (very) white face.
