also looks washed, then highlighted, right? But very well done! The faces are amazingly done so!

The pig-man ... is there a official back-ground story or is it just the usual werido of pulp-minis? And I also like to know, why YOu doubled the bases!?

Very fine minis and an even better paint job bearded snot.

Pulp Miniatures are soooo characterful, and you make them justice!

I really like how the faces turned out, and the shading on clothes.

Seems like magnet disks to me. They're used to "fix" the miniatures to a metal sheet, very useful for transportation and storage, or attaching the miniatures to moving trays in massed battles systems.

In the Doc Savage stories, Doc's two main sidekicks (Monk & Ham) squabble incessantly with one another and each has a pet that is named in mockery of the other. Monk has a pig named Habeus Corpus and Ham has a monkey named Chemistry (Monk is a chemist and Ham is a lawyer). The Pulp Figures miniature comes straight from the stories.

Many thanks all for the very nice comments !! Magnetic bases and Doc savage indeed. About the painting it's base coats, shading with a inks + acrylic matt medium and highlighting. I did a tutorial somme time ago HERE Go to the "bottom" of the page. Hope it helps.
