Not been doing much painting, but have been making a little bit of scenery. The plinth is to put one of Anti-matter's statues of the elder gods on hence the bit with no sand or anything. I'm not going to attach the statue, so it can be swapped out for other things, and so the statue can be used for 'dry' games too. I'm intending to add some more bits to the base so it doesn't look so bare, but I don't want to go over the top. I like that sea life tends to swarm things but I also want to convey that natural things shun this temple... tricky balance. The design is shamefully ripped off some temple ruins on Matakishi's conan test game. Don't know if he built it or bought it originally. I made it out of a sheet of foamboard and the base from an old clipboard. Sand is from a Scottish beach painted with emulsion tester pots.
The plants are just aquarium plants from pets at home.
