Really nice. Again I'm very impressed about the details of the sculpting and painting in 10mm. Some kind of revelation  :o

Thanks for the kind words, folks.  I've got more of the big boys ready to pulp my players:

These minotaurs are roughly the same size as the trolls.  Sorry about the lack of scale on them.

At this point it seems like a cliches to say that Irregular Miniatures don't look like much, but they paint up nice.  I thought a demonstration might be in order.  So here are a couple of before and after shots of their dwarves:

(I cut the pointy bit off the guy on the left.  He's labelled as a king, but he's just another mercenary dungeon plunderer in my games.)

Hi!

Great pics, could you post a comparison of the Irregular dwarfes and some Copplestone figs?

I´m doing a War of the Ring project and the Pendraken dwarfes I ordered were a bit too big for my taste.

More 10mm goodness - been trying to ignore this thread so I can concentrate on my 28's!  ;)

Yeah, Pendraken's demi-humans are all a big on the large size, relatively speaking.  Here's a series of shots with the same Copplestone human for scale:

That's Irregular, Pendraken, and Copplestone.

Elves too, but you don't notice it so much with them:

That's Pendraken and Copplestone.

Halflings, though, Pendraken's are beasts:

That's Copplestone and Pendraken.

Thanks! I like those Irregular dwarves, both the size and pose, that decides it.

Thanks, Doc!  I've added a couple of manticores to the menagerie, too:

Great looking collection you have developing. Those Copplestone sculpts look fantastic.

I picked up a few packs of the Pendraken fantasy figures to have a go at. The lack of variety in poses is disappointing, but the scale creep between basic troops and characters is ridiculous. One of the hero figures I have is leaning over slightly but if upright would be 15mm tall. A bit too big for a supposed 10mm range.

wow Warren! love the painting on those 10's.  and how tall are those Halflings!  funny!

i agree it seems Irregular are trying to put us off with those pics!  my 10mm Lizards came out quite well, if a bit camp...  and the photoless Goblin riding Pig is quite a nice figure.

this is very inspiring stuff. saw your pics on searches and theyhave  helped me partially move from 6mm to 10mm

anything new on your workbench in 10mm you want to share? get it off your mind...
