Wouldn't this be a little late for the Nock gun (issued in 1800, and was a flintlock)?  In an age of what appear to be hand-held gatlings, would be a bit old-fashioned to equip HM's Navy.

This is an updated Nock Gun using modern bullets, and where have we put any hand-held Gatlings? Besides it is still a good weapon for blasting a hole through a mob

I've been thinking of making a "Sand Pebbles" type craft for a game or two.

I really, REALLY want a boat like that for my games, but I'm struggling to pre-printed build card buildings far less create one like that.

What makes it worse is that there is a step-by-step guide in a couple of recent (2014) issues of Wargames Illustrated.

I was thinking some of the early "machine guns" could be represented by light gatling/gardner guns (various VSF miniatures manufacturers seem to make the equivalent of "hand-held" gatlings or gardners (very VSF, vice moving development of the Maxim up a few years).  Just three examples   VSF-04 Guns with many barrels (includes a "gardner")
