My brother finished the oasis last night.
Took a photo in the sun today, It may need another coat of varnish on the water.





That is very very nice and should be useful for some many genres.

What did you use for the shutters on the buildings?  ??? ??? ???

They really look the business and I'm very tempted to nick the idea  :D.

The shutter are just scratch built using thin strips of card over-lapping and another strip around the edge. The card you use needs to be good and cuts neatly. I used some old bisniuss cards. Which i cut into very thin strips and then glued, over-lapping on to another card. Once you get the hight you want you can cut the length. You can get about 8 shutters out of one card.
