Help Making a Deus Ex/Adam Jensen?
« on: 13 November 2015, 08:45:12 PM »
Am going to modify an Infinity fig into a Deus Ex Adam Jensen character.
Here's the fig:

May or may not need a need firearm but anyone know of a suitable replacement head?

Thanks

People have made good Adam Jensen conversions using another Infinity figure: Aleph Machaon. Might be a good place to start? :-)

Good finds. Thanks, both of you.

The Aleph fig is nice and while the Deadzone one is cool, I'm not keen on restic. The Pan Op fig arrived today. I'll dig through my bits box and see what turns up. Perhaps this will end up a straight head swap and generic c-punk fig. I'll get back to you.

Thanks again.

You could do a lot worse than the bearded glasses down head from these;

Or the bearded guy with the HMG from these;

There's a guy called Cho sumfin or other on the oficial forums who splits boxes, he might be able to sort you out, postage would be a killer though.

I've got plenty of Infinity minis, but was never completely convinced that a conversion of one of those would work. Also, as I'd like to maintain the same look for all minis involved, and I'd also need a boatload of Belltower cannon fodder, I started looking elsewhere.

And since the Belltower troops have a distinctive and yet also generic look over them, I'll be settling for the Mantic Corporate Rangers. A bit awkward arms, but those could be replaced of course (also, I'd really want to have the weapons looking at least marginally like those in the game, so conversion of the arms might be inevitable).

So, when I finially settled on that line, I also stubled upon the Mantic Corporate Captain, who'd be an easy enough conversion into Jensen.

I have not yet acquired any of those minis, so they might still change, but I'm convinced they might work. Then again; I just love the Infinity minis and I'd really like it if I would be able to use those lines instead.

Then again; I also pledged in the Mercs: Recon game Kickstarter by Megacon games and that game also has a lot of potential Deus Ex material...

+++EDIT+++ Crud!  :o I just had a look at the Nakamura Tower minis and those operatives and cops are just dead ringers for Belltower operatives! And I totally missed out on it too :( That would open up the use of Infinity minis for sure. Here's to hoping they'll be releasing those minis in retail as well...

I'm pleased I backed HINT. Cool product, right up my cyberpunk alley, and they've been doing an excellent job of staying on task, posting regular updates, responding to messages and feedback. What a crowdfunding project should be, IMO. Almost restored my faith in Kickstarter (almost) I'm very much looking forward to receiving my Pledge.
