Mark's Fantasy Projects (WFB & HOTT)

Hi all,

A thread to document what has been this years project - a number of Warhammer Fantasy armies. I have been toying with a nostaglic return to what was my first foray into wargaming over 20 years ago for a while... at various points I picked up some job lots of Wood Elves and Skaven of various vintages.

The delights of the Covid-19 lockdown gave some time to get some armies painted up. The first four are:

Bretonnians - a few characters to complement my Perry Hundred Years War collection
Skaven
Wood Elves
Dwarfs

I have two little boys, so even without a global pandemic, getting games in has been problematic for the last couple of years. However, the oldest, at 3, has now been recruited as an opponent! In the finest traditions of these things, he beats me nearly every time. He is a smart cookie for his age, but probably not up to more complex rulesets. As a result, we have been playing with Hordes of the Things, which has given us some exciting games.

I intended to show the armies I had been painting over the course of the covid times, but not having a dedicated hobby room has thwarted me... however lockdown 2.0 has seen my working on some undead types from Mantic...
