@ Atheling:

I think Carlos means buying separate shields from a third manufacturer that's one Goldilocks size for both of them, rather than more of either shield type you already have. Assuming of course that the figure sizes without shields are reasonably compatible in size otherwise.

That was the intent. Glad to see the issue has been resolved.

Here are some photos of the Crusader Samnites. They come with separate heads, 2 each of 4 different ones.

Thanks Miros.

I'm aware of Mark Sims Samnites as I was a member of his Yahoo Group when they were actually being sculpted way back.

I'm waiting for the remoulding of some of the Aventine Miniatures Late Etruscans which I will be using, or at least that's the plan at the moment- it might change :)

Thanks Guys.

Cheers Gerry. Good to know that the Crusader and A&A Samnites will be suitable as, with the army largely sculpted by Mark Sims, they will match the other units well.

Gents,

I’d like to add in some units of Campanian, Ligurian and Samnite infantry to my Victrix hoplite army.

How well do the A&A and Crusader figures match size wise with those Victrix Greek plastics?

Any actual size pictures shots would be appreciated for comparison.

@Miros
I see on your website the lovely Samnites you did. I also see you have Victrix Roman’s. These are comparable to the Victrix Greeks I would guess. How do they compare size wise?

Cheers
