I think it's getting closer to the mark.. I need to do more to the wind shield though. I painted it black and "dusted" it. But I don't think the illusion works. I didn't want to do it "gem-like" as you see on a lot of eldar stuff with big dropformed elements in glass/transparent material.
But I'm not so sure WHAT to do with it now...

I always give it a coat of gloss (or two), for me it works well enough and makes the black look a bit darker, even if you want it dusty:

I actually thought about that too... maybe I should give it a go. Gotta have a look at some space mobiles to see what NASA has come up with in terms of paintjobs.

The latest scruntie reinforcements arrived today! Two days short of seeing action for a long time... hehe.

The things are:

Three more scrunts. For killing stuff and gaming.

Decorative items for my land train/scrunt vehicles/buildings

And lastly a hatch also for the train.

I guess I better get around to do something about this at some point again.

I've actually bought some reinforcements for the slavers... Olley stopped doing the Texan scrunts and sold them off to somebody who - apparantly - is not in a hurry to put them on the market again. So I settled for some normal scrunts that I'm painting rather rag tag to form a militia of sorts.

I imagine the slavers them selves will pay others to do their fighting.

Hello,

I was wondering if this was a scratch build vehicle or not? I had a look on the ramshackle website and didn’t event see bits that I thought were similar, let alone the vehicle itself.

Nice work and a great idea, I have been enjoying watching progress for a wee while now, anything else not yet posted?

To my shame I have not noticed the spares section and had been lookig throught the vehicles and all minis lists tryign to see what it could have been made from
