Glad someone else has seen it  ;D

Even though I generally prefer MS Gundam (I really, really like the Igloo serials) for "plausibility" (yeah yeah I know), Kishin Heidan must by my absolute favourite mechabash series when it comes to style and design (not necessarily of all the characters, though). It may be some family conditioning (my grandfather, a radio engineer, invented the hexode tube and the single-ended tube), but I was totally enamoured by the tube racks used to start the Kishins.

I got the series on UK VHS back in early 1997, and they are pretty much the reason I kept my VCR for so long. I really hope they'll do a proper DVD edition (preferably with subtitled Japanese language track as an option) once.

Nice looking army you have there, especially the mounted samurai - very colourful.
