Ancestral Guardian
« on: January 16, 2011, 09:22:34 PM »
I got inspired by someone who posted pictures of the terracotta chinese fantasy he did, so I began redoing my skorne immortals and ancestrals as terracottas. With the obligatory green luminescence and red gems (of doom).

here goes

Lovely stone effect - I particularly like the green glow coming from the cracks as well as the eyes.

Nice work on the gems (of doom) too!  :D

There is something missing... Got it! Where is the owl-bear?
Apart from that a job well done. I'm especially impressed by the gems you painted.

Thank you gents!

I haven't touched a PP miniature for quite some time... at least not for gaming, but - and this will get me ousted from this site - I feel in a strangely competitive mood lately.  lol

How did you get that stone effect? It's really nice and grainy.

Very nice effect and I love the backdrop too (even though most clouds are identical).
