This is a nice little diorama, but it doesn't even come close to the hygienic practices of the common folk until about a hundred years ago (Romans might be excluded)

Imagine a family of eight al sharing the same bathing water in the same bathtub. First the father steps in, then mother, and afterwards all the children from eldest to youngest take their turn. It might have sucked to be the youngest and finding a half-empty tub full of cold, grimy water for you to clean yourself in

If I remember well, they used a sheet inside the bathtub. Once the bath is finished, they  removed the sheet and the water stays rather clean. Nevertheless it was reserved to the upper class.

Correct  They did have a sheet inside the tub, a bit like a post washing filter. I might still add one, but the thing I really want to add is water but what type of "plastic" water would be ok for resin figs painted with acrylics ?

Interesting, never heard of the sheet practice (not that I did any research or anything ).
