Eureka Beowulf vs GB/Musketeer Saxons?
« on: 25 March 2012, 11:25:02 AM »
Hello all. I'm not sure if this is a silly questions, but I'm wondering if anyone knows how well the Eureka Beowulf figures mix in with Gripping Beast and Musketeer Saxons? (Assuming the GB and Musketeer fit in quite nicely).

I would like to add some of the Beowulf figures into an early Saxon warband, so was wondering if anyone could provide some pics?

I do have some Eureka Beowulf minis, but GB-wise I just have the Flemish Mercenaries/Early Crusade Mercenaries.

If a pic of these would help you I could make one :)

I have seen both and think they would size up well together, unfortunately I don't have any comparison pics but have seen the figures from all 3 manufacturers.  The Beowulf figures would work well as personality figures or as just regular war band members.

Thanks for the info guys. Some pics would be most welcome. Are the early crusade figures anything to go by across the saxon/arthurian range?

no comparison picutres of the eureka figures, but for a comparison of Musketeer & GB

The two figures on the left are from the GB Germanic tribes range, and the two on the right are musketeer early saxons...

Here are the pics

Left and right Eureka Beowulf, middle GB Early Crusades Mercenary

Left and right Eureka Beowulf, middle GB Flemish Mercenary

Don't know how GB minis from different ranges size up together though ::)

Hope it helps

Hang on a sec, they're not painted!  lol

Thanks very much for the pics. I think they should fit in okay (although the Eureka seema tiny bit slighter in build). And thanks for the comparison from GB, too, Xander. Very helpful!

Not true, painted them up for some "Night Raid" scenario lol

And, I'm living beyond the Polar-circle, everybody looks like that in the winter ;)
