Each post here makes VSF look better and better. 

Especially now I've decided to root for the Martians! Having groaned through John Carter as an in-flight movie recently, these guys are truly fabulous.

Oddly enough I never saw John Carter, so can't comment on its cheesyness,  but JimBibbly seems to rate it highly,( he's not much of a film buff though)

Not having seen John Carter is a very redeeming quality in any gentleman, if I may say so.
