That's worked really well.  8) Toy hacks are a lot of fun too.
Thanks, I like that term "toy-hacks". I've called it junk terrain or kitbashing in the past, but those phrases don't quite describe what I do.  I've finally got a good term now.

That's a great build.  I have always found it difficult to imagine materials of different sources working. It is amazing how a few adjustments and a good unifying paint job brings them all together.

Appreciated.  It can be hard to pre-think what things will look like, but it's just a matter of sticking them together and seeing what happens. It does help that I'm here in Chicago where there's alot of industrial buildings with interesting facades or that have been modified, or had the neighboring building torn down exposing an unusual face (how I imagine this build). As for unifying, the priming stage is almost my favorite of the whole build.  All the disparate elements seem to just melt into one when you cover everything in black spray paint.  It's almost magical…

Just this evening I went through almost 3 cans priming two large pieces to accompany this one. Very satisfying.
