Thanks! I'd love to take credit, but it's a stock paintjob. I was super lucky to get one of these Joyride brand Mechwarrior toys in a mixed lot.  I've also got two of the Legionnaires and the Forestry mech.  I've just based the Legionnaires as-is with a bit of dirtying around the feet to blend with the basing.

I don't mind a slightly smaller footprint myself.  They other brand I used a lot was k-line.   My church and my apartment block and my cabin came from that company.   I found it best to haunt the train shows.  The factory plastic paint jobs are brutal, but can easily be primed black.  There is a new company called Ameritowne that had some cool buildings as well.

I'm from Winnipeg and many of the buildings from the turn of the century look Plasticville.  A few pulpy posters and you're good to go.
