I'm in the US and ordered direct along with some figs. If you can get your order up to 60 pounds, shipping is free! So if you and a couple of friends want a copy, that will hit the 60 pound mark.

Also, I pre-ordered and had a shipping notification last Thursday and the rules arrived on Monday! amazing service to Wyoming.

I got my copy this week and although I'm biased as Stephen's brother, it's cover to cover eye candy. Properly laid out and professionally printed too...now to acutually read it!

Got the book a few days back as well as two of the deniable minis, they are great and the rules seems intresting, can't say for sure as I am yet to play with them. Didn't have much money set aside though, still don't til the end of the month but was starting to see you were selling out a number of them, which is great! Do you have any timetable on when you might be restocking? The miniatures are great.

Unrelated as a rules question, reading about Detection, I might just be blind as they come but what is the actual detection roll? Or does that refer to the Scanning Command Action?

I hope it goes well and you get to expand the range in due time!

Hello,

I'm thinking of purchasing these rules (and some miniatures) at Crisis. Could you tell me how many (and which?) models you need to play a simple game? Then I have a broad idea of what to buy :)

Thanks!

Cheers

Hi, yes rolls are based on your command number in the command phase to spot ieds, hidden troops etc.

If you go to page 33 and 34 there are tables for daylight and night time and the to roll is based on the quality of the miniature at which point you need to roll.

Page 34 has rules for un alerted auto alerting eg soldier drops dead within sight, you hear gunfire. You may still need to detect who or where the shooting is from however. Things like scopes, binoculars will give an edge eg night vision makes the mini able to use day time detection ranges
