1. Finish my pirate ship that I started in 2015.
2. Paint a dragon that has been sitting unpainted in the cupboard for 15 years or so.
3. Organise games and painting nights for friends.
4. Get rid of more stuff that I'm never going to paint.
5. Push my painting output a little.

1) play more games (even just one would be nice ::))
2) improve the quality of my painting (it's been slipping :-[)
3) speed up my painting (likely to clash with 2.)
4) paint up the 10mm fantasy figures for dungeon bashing I bought last year
5) figure buying-wise, I tend to be fairly low with that, other than at wargame shows (but they don't count ;D)
6) build a tardis, as I think that's the only way I'm going to be able to store the stuff I have
7) look into terrain mats

OK, I'll bite... :D

Last year was, against all expectations, a pretty productive year for me. This was mainly caused by me painting up several blocks of undead infantry; the count goes up dramatically with those! All in all, I estimate I've painted about 75 minis in 2016. I know; that's not a lot when compared to many (most?) of you, but I'm quite satisfied with that number.

So for 2017, I'll be aiming to paint 100 minis! I think this is doable, and I'm now stoked to keep up the pace and reach that number.

I'm specifically not stating which projects they'll be for though, as I want to be free to choose whatever mini/unit I fancy painting at the time. So I may not finish entire projects this way, but I'll have fun and be productive at the same time. :)

And then the biggy; I vow to finally finish my gamesroom in 2017. There; I said it.

11 years ago, my then girlfriend and I bought this house on the basis of the wishes of either of us; she wanted a garden and a walk-in closet, and I wanted a dedicated gamesroom.  Now, 10 years after I moved in, my gamesroom is still not finished.

Yes; I have a temporary table set up (on tresles), but all my hobby gear is still upstairs, stashed up, under, behind and above my hobby desk. All of which has to be moved into my mancave, a desk needs to be built, shelving needs to be put in, a display cabinet needs converting and a permanent table needs to be constructed (for which I have an ambitious plan indeed).

I can't guarantee the table, but the rest will have to be completed this year, period. My wife has been talking about moving, and I can't face having lived here for over 10 years without having finished my lair.

Knowing Mr. Murphy and his damn laws though, when the room has finally been finished, we'll be moving house... ::)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I'll stick with some very rough guidelines: Less buying - spend way too much on the hobby every month - , more painting - less is impossible - and more gaming - on a more regular base, that is - ( and finally start posting some pics on the web of my stuff ). We'll see what happens... ;)

Number one has to be play more games!

I'd really like to get rid of items that I'm never going to use; some more streamlining.

Finally I'd like to finish a project; FIW, pulp, gothic horror.

I have quite a considerable lead pile but these are all part of the plan for the four or five projects on the go which are all at least 50% or more complete.

My new project for 2017 is a 28mm SYW Russian army. My resolution is not to buy too much ahead of my painting. And not to get drawn into anything else - apart from Saga Arthurian maybe  :?

1. Convert a GW Empire army to 16:th century swedes and danes for the Nordic Seven Years War.

2. Finish my Vietnam war USMC and VC forces including 2 hueys and a hamlet.

3. Paint a WW2 East Front train to be used in partizan vs  germans scenarios.

4. Play every two weeks.

Still not buying miniatures until the mountain is levelled.

(But I'm hoping for Dalek Risk for my birthday in a few days!)  :D

I've got a stack of DWA iDaleks to paint for a civil war project, Hat Roman & Carthaginian armies for Basic Impetus or Warmaster, Grenadier Cthulhu mini's & loads of Batman Heroclix as well as Horrorclix mini's to paint this year. Plenty to keep me out of trouble.
Waiter, my soup is giggling.

Get the greens I've had sat on my desk for ages cast up - these ones wont be made available, so I need to set aside a wedge of cash that I won't recoup from sales.

Trouble is, everytime I get cash in, I plough it straight back into the Apocalypse Isle project....
