Thanks everyone!
I like the pictures with the backdrop. It really sets the scene for it well. A pity you couldn't use them. Nice win.
It's not that I couldn't use them, mate, It's just I didn't like the final result,

It was all printed off on A4 sheets and I glued them on to foamboard with Pritstick. Air bubbles seem to have appeared during drying which looked guff!
Outstanding. Clean, crisp and perfect colours. A beautiful execution of a brilliant bat-shit idea
Thanks! It was someone else's 'bat-shit' idea!

I just copied the drawing!
No contest really, this build is simply crazy good.
Is the stand a thick acrylic rod and square acrylic base?
Thanks Doctor M! I loved the Escape Pod bay! I'm still waiting for pics of the full board with that piece added!

I couldn't find a decent sized pre-made flight stand so I had to build my own. eBay was my friend here. A 6mm thick A4 sheet for the base, drilled out for the 12mm clear rod I ordered. Making sure it was a tight fit when drilled out and glued in place. I had to put a wee plastic bit of pipe on the top of the clear rod to hold the ship in place better.

Absolutely wonderful. So many scenario ideas spring from it too.
Thanks Andrew!
Someone mentioned it looked like the starship Titanic, so I think I need another, much smaller ship(maybe a floating lorry) that says 'Iceberg' on the side! That might be one of the scenarios....stop it before the Floatel hits the 'Iceberg'!

Bloody brilliant finish, mate.

You do realise that you now need a MC-1 version of Basil Fawlty.......

I'll maybe just paint a moustache on the robot butler.....the scenario may include a broken robot called BS1L.....hence BS1L faulty......god, that's a lame joke!

Again, thanks for everyone that voted for me and for all the positive, supportive comments throughout the contest!
