Pirates of the Cari-BLAM-ean. (Desert Island 4/10)
« on: August 02, 2015, 10:07:03 AM »
Hi all.

Well BLAM 2015 is only 2 months away! :o......And we've got some stuff to do.

The plan is to have a big game involving all the guys still left on the Sunday to grab a crew and participate.

I've got to build a ghost ship and add an area of coastline to my 7th Voyage board.

First up part of the coast. The base is hardboard. Foamboard for the dunes and then liberally covered in polyfilla. Still wip.  The ocean will be glossed and some silicon for the waves. The sand's still to be painted and reeds added all along the shoreline.

Of course, you know we like to everything the last minute and then wing it on the day. :D

Love the job on the submerged rocks going down from the outcrop - really has a good illusion of depth.

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Ah (or should that be 'arrrrr'?) - so it is happening then :)

Right then Andy, better tell us what we need so we can get organising.

Will also have to revisit the list of games proposed, as we won't need quite so many if we're going to try to rope people into mass pirate action on the Sunday.

Let's follow up on it in the BLAM user group.

But loving your build shown here so far.

Ha!

I distinctly recall playing on those terms in a pirate game at an earlier BLAM... for several minutes.  lol
