kudos to Wargames Foundry customer service

I was recently reading a thread from last year about the amount of time that Wargames Foundry takes to respond to email regarding problems with orders. That was on my mind this last month, as, for the first time ever I had a major problem with an order.

On January 13 this year I received 8 out of 14 packs that I ordered from Casting Room (Foundry), and one of those packs was the wrong pack. I sent out 3 emails from that day and over the next couple of weeks to customer service at Wargames Foundry. On February 2 got a reply from Diane Ansell asking for some photos. I sent those within a few days. And then, presto, on February 13 received the rest of my order, including a pack to replace the incorrect pack that I'd previously received. Took a month, but shipping was really fast on the corrected order. And I live about 6000 miles from Wargames Foundry.

Because of that older thread, I felt I ought to share this good experience of having my order fixed within a reasonable time.

Nice to know.

I had a similar experience on a smaller scale - a model was sent by mistake instead of another; when pointed out the replacement was sent at no extra cost.

Always had excellent customer service when dealing with Foundry.

Glad to hear it worked out well! I haven't ordered from them in a bit, but they always came through in the end.

There was once or twice where I would not get timely email responses so I resorted to calling them directly and it was sorted very quickly. A bit of a hassle considering I am across the ocean for them and with the time difference and having to pay for an overseas call, but it is what it is...

Never had anything but an excellent customer service from Foundry and especially if Diane or Marcus get involved. Always prepared to go the extra mile for you.
And believe,  me they have had some really odd requests from me. lol

Their prices amy be a bit off but they are helpful, friendly and if you order early enough you can get your stuff the net day.
