Is the game going to have roughly free-form gang creation (in that you take a basic guy, add skills and equip him as you see fit, then stick him in whatever gang you can come up with - a bit like Shockforce), or is it going to be more structured (e.g. Soldier 'gang', Zombie 'gang' etc.) with pre-set characters and stats?

I've got dozens of ideas for various factions and characters, that a more free-form character creation system would be better for!

I think that the figures look pretty good so far.

They are Paul Hicks' sculpt if I'm not mistaking.

I'll post pictures of my hodge-podge game at Cold Wars (I really threw this together as it is just a playtest demo game and my own Rattrap stuff takes up a lot of my time).

But all those great Plasticville train buildings will be very useful now.

And yes, the figures are Paul Hicks. Very nice stuff!

A little of both. For example, the 8th Avenue Greasers have a standard gang member. You equip him as you want. There will be options to add some limited abilities to the squaddies. But because of the squad nature of the game, you won't be giving each member different abilities (though you can give them different weapons).

The heroes will have more options to change.

You are never satisfied are you Grimm. :)

Okay, here are TWO images of the sculpts. Don't tell Lon I put them up.

This is one half of the 8th Avenue Greasers.

This is an 8th Avenue Greaser Brute

Yeah, he's about 50% bigger than a normal figure.

The story line sounds very nice,
And the sculpts look fantastic, too!

one more question:
What dice will be used in this game? D6 or D10.

In the attempt to keep it simple, mechanics will use 2d6.

Sometimes a 3rd or more d6 will be added, but this won't be a buckets of dice game.

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

You need one of these....

Doc Hudson "Cars" remodelled and repainted

or do an ebay search for "hotrod 1/50"

lots of these

listed as 1/50 or 1/55 so should go well with Paul Hicks sculpts

No robots or power armor. Think more Mad Max and less WWWIII.

THEM! Of course we'll have THEM! Might have to stat up Triffids too. :)
