METRO 2033/Russian apocalypse project
« on: 31 May 2017, 05:49:51 PM »
Quick introduction to what it all is, sadly most of my stuff isn't to hand so I've just got the pieces I'm working on.
The universe I'm building around is heavily inspired by the METRO world although for convenience sake it takes place on the surface. I have factions representing the Red Line, Reich and rangers alongside regular survivor types. Rules depend on the kind of game we want, for surface scavenging I use a modified Call of Cthulhu system while gang combat will use necromunda and inter faction warfare will probably use Black Ops. I can't show everything I'm working on right now in case my mate accidentally finds this and as everyone knows true horror is about not knowing what's out there. Regardless enjoy!
Pictures include some generic survivors, a few 4th Reich fighters, monsters and WIP on an armoured mech suit, survivors camp, terminal and a couple of people.

Nice kitbashing on those figures so far!  :) Where did you source the parts from?

Believe me it's not a start, I've got dozens and dozens of survivors in various states. Most of them come from the bolt action soviet range with webbing coming from places like GW, pig iron and other bolt action ranges. The Nazis have helmets from the wargames factory trench fighters box. I've got a few from the copplestone neo sov range as well as necromunda gangers as well. I'll upload pictures of one of our playtest games later today.

Some pictures of a playtest we had a couple of weeks ago. Apologies for not having everything painted but we wanted to try stuff out. Two bands of survivors searching for supplies which may turn out to be somewhat less friendly  lol Bad start for me after one of mine ran into a drone but all was made well after my mate ran his band into a pack of watchmen before I shot his survivors in the back and made off with the loot.

More progress. Finished a few more humans and have started work on some more militia and mutant types.
