@CaptainHaddonCollider: Thanks very much. :) Yeah, it's kinda cool how this turned out. :D Very glad I got to take these army shots too. Most of the time with large armies I paint them and send them off  in batches and never really see them all together and finished. :)

@aliensurfer: :D Well, it's been close to three years overall I think.

@hubbabubba: Cheers! Yeah, those were a particular passion project for the gentleman I painted these for as well. And those conversions turned out great.

Wow! Seeing them all together is pretty impressive! Amazing conversions that you're client did and really given the paint job they deserve. I really like the AoS orruks converted to 40k.

Here's a question, do you paint things rusty and then put metallics on them, or paint things metallic and then put rust on them?

Thanks. :) Yeah, I usually do metallics - rust- metallics. I lack the imagination to do it the other way around. :D Sometimes with metallic debris on bases or something like that I might do just straight-up dirt/rust and then some metallics around the edges, but usually I do it as above.

Superb figure! Mostly stunned by the inscriptions!

@gamer Mac: Thanks very much. :)

@DintheDin: Cheers, much appreciated as always!

Right, more WIP goodness. Basically just a look at what's on the table at the moment.

First, a view of Eldrad's backside:

...and here's what's on the table:

Iyanden Farseer, Iyanden Autarch, Eldrad, Sister Hospitaller. All WIP of course. Fun fact: last time I painted SoB in that colour scheme was 1997. :D

Right, another WIP:

The farseer and the autarch are more or less done, Eldrad needs some more work, the sister hospitaller and her pal need a bit more work. Started doing the scrolls and doves earlier today though.
Hope to get the Sisters done soon and Eldrad as well. Then it's time to do the Triumvirate of Yinnead and after that it's time for Celestine and her two clone troopers!

Okay, let's get back to more light-hearted things, meaning 40k.

Finished the Iyanden pals (except for one detail i have to add) and Eldrad. I even finished the Sister Hospitaller!

So I proceeded to the Triumvirate of Ynnead.  These are to go with the Harlequins I painted last year. So sticking to the theme I present you with WIP shots of Cpt.Bavaria and Mama Bavaria:

On the colour schemes I took inspiration from a guy who actually travels the world calling himself Captain Bavaria and comedienne/actress Luise Kinseher.

Hope you like'em so far!
