Wow that really is amazing work. I especially like the details in it like the wooden pegs to join the timber together.
The painting and weathering is top work in it self.

Thanks for the kind compliments folks. It was quite a tedious build but worth it in the end. I'll be doing a whole bunch of Viking themed builds over the coming months, I'm putting together a display game for ChillCon next year :-)

It's inspired by a real building:



This was the only angle photograph I had so I used sketchup to build a prototype and make up the bits I couldn't see.

Thanks I've built one MDF kit so far. Took surprisingly a lot of effort to make something made of wood look like wood.
