Scratchbuilt viking longhouses
« on: February 18, 2014, 04:44:09 PM »
I posted these over in the fantasy gallery because they were for my fantasy vikings but i suppose they could be used in a historical game as rich people in the city, I am not sure :)
I scratchbuilt these (except for the bits like barrels and shields) 2 viking longhouses. I am hoping to do a jarl's hall and other buildings soon.

Stunning!

I shall watch with great interest. I'm going to build a Viking longhouse myself shortly, albeit a stone one as per the archaeology in the Shetlands/Orkneys. Your eye for detail is fantastic and I will be hoping to pick up pointers.

Beautiful wood grain! How did you do the Celtic pattern? It is beautiful.
