It's been a long time since I got my minis onto a table but I had a good solo game of Pulp Alley last week. Used my Japanese collection, samurai and co vs a group a bandits searching for some confidential documents (exciting!)

Today's game of OHW,scenario 15,Fortified defence.
Set at the Alamo, the Mexican attackers are over the walls and in the compound, clearing out the barrack buildings,.
Another fun game and a good reason to get those lovely Boothill minis out on the table 🙂

Since I cannot meet up with anyone I played a game of Where there is Discord a solo boardgame where you are in control of the British taskforce heading to the Falklands.
I was a major British Victory I managed to sink two Argentine Submarines and the Belgrano on my way to the islands. I only lost the Sheffield to airattack. And managed to land my troops virtually unopposed.

Gaslands by webcam, because we can't meet in person.

My brother wrote up a technical guide to how he's running the games that might be useful: http://www.warbard.ca/2020/12/27/how-to-run-gaslands-or-any-game-by-webcam/

I wrote up a player-side view a day or two before that: http://www.warbard.ca/2020/12/26/gaslands-by-webcam/

That samurai game looks gorgeous! The sashimono are outstanding, and the terrain is beautiful.

My 9 yr old daughter has been learning to paint figures, with my help of course. We've started working through an old collection of Airfix 'Sheriff of Nottingham' set of figures. We've finished about 14 so far. Over on the Medieval forum here someone suggested 'Song of Arthur & Merlin', so for eight bucks, I purchased a copy and away we went. Two games on the kitchen table using my homemade mat, about 2ft square. It's a great set of rules, small foot-print, quick & easy. I can even use some of her older brother's Heroscape figures. Top points for the suggestion!
