Second Baltic Crusade The Battle of Lyndanisse 800 year anniversary

Well not really. But since Photobucket has F***ed over all their users and my old thread I decided to start a new one as I am still working on this project.

The grand plan is to have a table and armies ready for the 800 year anniversary of the Battle of Lyndanisse June 15. 2019. So there is still some time to get stuff ready.

Firstly a great big photodump of what I have finished so far.

I also build a Motte & Bailey castle. As the battle takes place around a castle the danish crusaders was constructing.










And my partner in crime buildt a stack of boards that my Motte and Bailey fit together with. But despite using the same colours I completely failed to match his boards. But I think if we put enough troops, terrain and scatter on ther it is not to bad.

Well what can I say. Danish summer weather is not really suitable for anything else than staying inside and paint.
