Very impressive. The gradual buildup really paid of. I was not aware that it had amounted to that many miniatures.

How about a big game of Hail Caesar?

Cheers

Nice little Army. Fascinating history, read something after watching your figures.

Some armies just want to be added to.  I have a 3rd century Roman army from A&A.  Now as I'm typing this I feel the urge to clean and paint another unit for it.  I have enough, but another unit of cav would look cool.  Or should I do some praetorians....

After a game with this army - that I even won :D

I felt like adding to it again. So I did up another unit of spearmen.

They are made from the Gripping Beast Dark age warriors box. I just added heads from various other plastic sets mostly fireforge. To make them more medieval looking. I feel they are a good representation for Levies or militia.

Really great stuff! I love seeing a mass of medieval troops. Those Fireforge figures are so versatile!

I like those with the check.  Kudos for using it across an entire unit (I get frustrated at one or two figures).

Great work on these - especially the chequered shield design as mentioned above

Thanks.
It did cost a few sanity points to do the checks.
It is the coat of arms of the danish Rosenkrans family made (more) famous by Shakespeare.
