28mm submarine
« on: July 14, 2017, 05:50:35 AM »
Hi all....me again with another repurposed project.
Materials consist of cardboard, foamcore, plastic tubing, dollar store sunglasses, toothpick sections, and sewing snaps.
I figured it could be used in post-apoc settings, or even in pulp...this is #3 of an ongoing series of submarines. I kept it pretty generic so as to be used by any country or power sector. Submarine #2 is in the pulp forum if you would like to compare them, as both are similar in style, but different in some detail execution.
Please let me know what you think...I relish ALL evaluations, good or bad...need both to learn the correct path right?

Thanx all...
Cheers,
Carl

That is amazing.

As inspiration for your next project, have you thought about HMS M2?

It is a very spooky experience to visit (the hanger doors are open - the hull is of course sealed).

I don't know if I like - why don't you just mail it to me here in Oregon so I can get a better look at it, and then I'll tell you what I think...?
