Snakemen, Demon Snakes etc?
« on: 24 July 2017, 07:12:08 PM »
I'm looking for snake-themed miniatures, particularly newer sculpts and snakemen.

Does anyone know of any?

The Ophidians from Rackham had some lovely miniatures which would make great characters. The company went under a good few years ago but you can still get the models here:

Or on eBay.

When the new Ghost Archipelago game comes out it will have snakemen as a set of plastics I believe. I can't remember when it is running though but I think it is a few months off. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Can anybody confirm or disprove this? I'm very curious!

Also check out some lovely ones by Tim Prow (Diehard Miniatures, recent kickstarter) - both snakepeople and skeletal snakepeople.

The shadowsea range has a single large snakeman.

Mierce Minatures do large resin snakemen.

Eureka do 10mm snakemen.

If you can still find Clan War naga, they were beautiful figures.

Alex at Forge of Ice does a couple too.  Available in the UK from Fenris IIRC.

Reaper has some which just came out with Bones 3 --- not sure if they're based on metals from previous or not.  Quite large - on actual snake bodies.
