Warhound: Iron Collar + Possess = Megahound?
« on: September 06, 2017, 01:35:12 PM »
So, I place an Iron Collar on the warhound to up its stat line and then cast Possess on the warhound to turn it into a super demon dog by upping its stat line again.

Now iron traditionally hurts demons so that might not be good. Or to the contrary, you could split the proverbial hair and make the distinction between iron and cold iron. I haven't seen anything in FG that would prevent me from creating the ultimate Clifford [children's book about a big red dog], but I also want to respect hundreds of years of folklore. I also want a really, really mean pet.

What do you guys think?

Thanks- Z

Do it!

I have had a Captain, specifically design for possession, upped his health and armour as much as I could and relied on possession to make him a beast.

He took 10 damage twice from Elemental Bolt in one game and lived, his sacrifice meant I nabbed the Lich lords helper in the game with the boats and the frozen river. Happy days. He is temporarily retired.

Also, just because it says 'Iron' doesn't necessarily mean its 'Iron', it could be bronze or steel or some such.

So once again I say 'Do it'

Seems like a pretty good plan to me.  That's why I try to take Banish if at all possible.
