Painted and Rebased Mice and Mystics Figures.
« on: November 22, 2017, 05:55:15 PM »
Finally finished up painting the 20 or so figures from the Mice and Mystics boardgame. Nice figs even before considering that they came from a board game.

... a few examples below.  I rebased them on plastic bases with Death Ray Designs card base toppers and painted them with my usual fast dipping process. Rather pleased with the results.

3 of the 6 heroes.

A bit of conversion work on the 6 rats also courtesy of a bag of random skaven bits picked up locally.

Lovely paintjobs and mini's.
I painted mine to but didn't rebase them, I regret that now ;)

Do share when you get around to painting the tailfeathers game, I'd love to see that.

Cheers,
Stroezie.

Very cute.
I have been thinking about gaming with figures like these.
Great bases, love them.

Thanks!
I'm really liking these base toppers. DRD doesn't advertise them as much and they've started to do more with acrylic, but the card base toppers are still some of the most affordable and easiset to use basing options.

It's not to late to rebase.  ;-)

To be honest I'm a bit intimadated by painting the birds in the Tail Feathers game.  I definitely want to get to it at some point though and I've got a couple of PVC eagles I could practice on.
