Just a small thread to keep track of some of the bits I'm adding to my AWI project

Today's offering is a humble ammunition cart (a metal Perry creation) painted by myself as a way to hopefully reignite my painting mojo.

Progress will undoubtedly be slow...

 :)

So now you have a supply train.
All you need are some escort soldiers and then some others to ambush it. :D
Will follow with interest. :)

Nicely done sir! I have both of these under about a kg of other AWI metal waiting to surface, really need to get back out to GHQ and do some work.

To be fair, i've got A LOT of soldiers  :D. ...both to escort and to ambush the supply train, but most weren't painted by me, so i haven't posted them on here yet. Currently rebasing and reflagging forces for both sides, plus filling in some gaps in my collection.  If LAF'ers would like to see them, i will of course post up some pictures  ;)

ok, i'll sort out some photos of the rebased troops... in the meantime here are a few more that i've actually managed to finish painting myself.

Just filling in a few gaps in my collection for various orbat permutations...

First up a few foundry light infantry painted from scratch to match some existing ones as I flesh out a brigade of elites. Have a couple of formed units, but wanted some more skirmishing bases.

Quite like the long dried grass...something for the skirmishers to pop out from behind...  :D

and a few perry dragoons... no use for my main goal of fighting Brandywine, but i had some spare figures lying around ...these had been (well) painted by someone many moons ago, but sadly by the time they came into my possession they were battered and chipped to pieces, so i thought i'd give them some TLC...

Thanks mate.

As requested, here are some photos of the rebasing/reflagging progress (as mentioned at the outset, the vast majority of these figures were painted by those with far more talent (& patience) than me).

Figures are mainly Foundry & Perry metals, plus a few units of Perry plastics.

Lots more Brits to rebase... and then onto the Continentals  :)

I managed to rebase a couple more units...both needed some TLC as i'd picked these up secondhand.

That all looks good.  And you're right - plenty of troops to act as umbushers and/or ambushees.

Any Indians, per chance?
