Now that is interesting.  The Grenadier/Mirliton half orcs look to be smaller (at least, less bulky) than the Mirliton orcs and the heads seem to go well with the NS orcs.

Certainly. The same sculptor as the NS goblins. Even the helmets are similar in style.

Yeah, but the heads on most 28mm figures are large.  The orc heads look like they might go quite well.  The real pin-heads are the Redbox miniatures.

I would agree that they’re too small to mix with the NS barbarians however the goblin heads are a very good match to the Perry HYW sets (in terms of size anyway, the neck join is different). I think they’d make for some very effective, dastardly henchmen.

Well, North Star has said they will be doing wolf riders at some point, so those should fit in well enough one assumes, but no idea how long till those will see the light of day (knowing orcs, they probably stay hidden in the darkness actually).

A few comments on kitbashing
- frostgrave weapon arms fit goblins and vice versa; dry runs are vital and the joint surfaces aren't identical but they work very well
- GW dark ages arms fit the goblins
- goblin heads will work on frostgrave bodies with care and selection
