Spiffy terrain there.

Ok.  Here’s what passes as a game report.  We had 6 players, all young men of the superior sort ages 12-15.   Each player had a distinct victory conditions as follows:

Zanzibari -  Prevent European penetration into the town
British - Capture the Town and/or eliminate the Zanzibaris
German - Rescue Emin Pasha
France -  Bring Back evidence of a dinosaur living in the forest
Mirambo - capture a European artillery piece or Maxim
Native Tribe -  Prevent anyone from getting more than 6 inches into the forest

A player must complete their mission to declare victory.  In the event of multiple successes, the winner will be the player to accumulate the most exploration points, earned by contacting a event token (scattered across the board), survive the encounter and gather the reward.  By the end of the game the British, French,  Natives and Mirambo all completed their missions with Mirambo the high point player, largely on the strength of his dogged pursuit of wild animal (Rhino, and Ostriches) and the Germans poor decision to divide their troops.  Other highlights of the game included the Native Royal Guard slaying the dinosaur with spears, a multi-turn sword duel between Mirambo and a German Army Officer, A Zanzibari leader shrugging off a Cobra bite to dispatch the snake and a German Askari being eaten by a Croc as he crossed the river to attack the town.  Pictures below.

Excellent pics.
Looks like you had your hand full with six players.
Did I miss what rules you used?
I did not see it as I read your post.

No, I forgot to mention it.  I used my Africa variant of Frank Chadwick’s as yet unpublished “Mars Needs Steam” rules.  They are a combination of tactical gunpowder rules and exploration/hidden hazard rules.
