Looking good! Perry crossbows seem a good size on the northmen, compared to the smaller fantasy crossbows in say Frostgrave kits.

Early days still on the display board, but it's really starting to come together I think. I wanted it to be primarily for a SAGA force, but with some modular additions - specifically a camp and campfire - I think this would make a great "party screen" type vignette for Rangers of Shadow Deep. Imagine your Rangers returning home to their camp in the wilds to rest, recover and rearm before sallying out again. Something like a 'camp screen' from a videogame. Still heavily WIP. Thoughts?

This is super extra in the best possible upholding of table top traditions. I already want one of my own lol. What is the provenance of those tents?

Oh yes. Extra is the name of the game :) They're Renedra indeed. Think they come as part of a larger set of various types of tent.

Yeah they're surprisingly a good fit. The arms are a little skinny, but slapping fur pelts on them (as I do with everything...) tricks the eye enough to make it work.

Seem to be in the hobby zone at the minute, so taking advantage of the mojo to complete the rebasing and retouching of some mounted knights for the Order.

These models are old completions I decided I wanted to rework, partially to match the round basing theme that's going on these days and also just to improve on things I didn't like.

What I changed:

-New helms on Stalmir, Venislav and Rurik - I found some STLs online, and thanks to a friend's 3D printing skills, I now have a near-limitless resource of various greathelms - not reliant on Fireforge sprues any longer!

-Stalmir's lost the spear he had previously (as the only guy in the unit with a spear - it looked weird!)

-Venislav has a Fireforge sword blade instead of a Perry one - Perry swords are very thin and fragile

-Added dust weathering to each horse's legs - not sure how well it shows up though. But it adds a bit more dirt and 'character' to the unit!

Thanks guys.

Managed to squeeze my monthly completion in for Stronghold Terrain's Heerschau 2022 (one valid Saga unit up to 1pt, any 'Age of...' universe) at the absolute last possible moment! A point of Order arbalests, counting as Warriors (as Ordenstaat) or Levy (as Baltic Crusaders)

Lot of fun painting the pavises on these :)
