Clarification on pinning and supression please

Once a unit has more supression markers than active models it must perform a morale check.

Pinning:

When is this test taken? I assume it is taken at the point when it reaches the above status, so usually after an enemy attacked it.

Now what happens if the units passes this morale check?

Suppression:

According to the new rules on suppression and combat effectiveness what happens if a unit in melee has more supression markers than it has models? i.e a unit of 3 models has 6 suppression markers, is every model at -2 for combat?

the unit must test immediately.
When the unit passes the check succesfully nothing happens but it must perform a new morale check on its next activation ( scorecheck ) and on every time it is attacked.  However, if the unit is attacked by a charge it does not perform a morale check but will defend itself.

Is the unit pinned and charged it must check morale if it is a pinned raw unit it is destroyed.

Nope. All fight with minus 1 modifier even if you have the double number of suppression markers. When the fight is over you must check morale immediately and see if you can avoid pinning.
