Thank you all for the kind words!!! :)

I have seen (& made) 28mm buildings that weren't
painted that nicely. Well done. :o :o :o
Thanks! I reckon that washes work a lot better (and faster) in 6mm!

Absolutle top notch work on these again mate. I particularly love how each has a story to them, you can see how the shanty grew over a more solid structure, or how materials were repurposed into new uses or functions inside the building. Oh and their verticallity obviously  :D

Always trying to put a bit of a story to each piece - especially in 6mm it's easy to get the picture! At the end of the day i had to model anew only 20% of the buildings probably, it was a lot more of a job of composing stuff. A lot of that! =)

Wow they look awesome  :o Cannot wait to see the rest. Also love the way your games look, keep up the good work.

Thank you! We're pretty proud of what the game is becoming, but there's a looong way ahead! :)

Cheers guys, thanks for the support. Working on the humans as we speak!

Wow!  :o

You have come a long way with this collection. The miniatures and scenery are fantastic.

Your painting style also brilliantly brings out all those itsy bitsy details.

Carry On! Please.

About that...

Tonight I finished a first draft of the Enlisted infantry. It's a particularly tough job since i'm both learning organic sculpting and playing around to find a convincing design. Not sure if I'm fully convinced, but for the basic infantry those could work.

Opinions?

They look pretty good to me. I think when they’re printed in 6mm they’ll look at least as good as most of the other figures available in the size.

The only thing that doesn’t quite work for me is the hose on the front of the face plate. I think with two connected to the back of the helmet the air supply and return needs would be covered, and I would be frustrated as hell at having the front hose in the way while I was trying to handle my weapons in combat!

Hah! Fair point. I should find another solution for the front to make it more interesting, then!

Test-printing some more after a silly mistake in the first run - the details seem to work fine tho!

Updates soon! :)

Here some quickly painted figures done during the lunch break:

All in all the details are all showing, and a single pass of a Contrast paint was enough to highlight all the elements of the figure!
Some minor changes in the style still to do, but i call this a success!

They're quite nice.
Good job.
A thin line of bright blue or green + contrast shade in the now thinner visor would make a nice contrast.

Thanks both!!
Yeah - the colour scheme is definitely TBD. I just apply a contrast to show the details! :)

MEANWHILE - yesterday we finished the table! I took some shots today, but better ones will be due when i find a replacement part for the tripod!

Cheers,

...and some updates on the infantry - I think i got the overall style right! I decided to keep the front hose for the rule of cool, and made 8 poses:

and printed a strip. Pretty happy I must say! <3

Now i'm curious to see some 15mm guys painting them too! :)

Cheers,
Jack

I love the contrasting dull and bright colours! Should make them easy to recognize on the table.

That's some seriously nice work. ;)
I would / will print those in 15/18 mm ... though I would
Shorten the barrels to represent shotguns & use them as
Ship arms men   :D

I am gonna glue some on a base soon to see the effect - hopefully i'll find a smartest workflow but it's close!

Compared to the works of the previous years, I decided to do all my current stuff aiming at the 15mm crowd a lot more. So yeah--- I'll be happy to see them used around! <3
