Especially since they are so tiny.

It's fairly simple, really. Cutting them at the base, they pivot on the weak point and get away pretty fast!
The only tricky one is on the "neck protection" part, which requires a bit more delicate hands!

Of course, this must be done before curing the model.

Pretty much so!
Granted, handling these models is not as easy as the "supportless" standing napoleonics. But it's far less boring as well! And I'd say it's an extra 20% time of preparation in total, nothing too dramatic!
Plus, if you break one or two it really doesn't change much since you can print more!

Nice work Jack. Well done.
You have become quite good using blender.

And to add, broken off parts can be fixed with super glue, though this can be a bit fiddly at times.
Resizing up or down creates loads of new venues but also new problems especially where there are delicate parts.

I painted the new heavy inf!



Here's the four bases (two units) of armoured infantry ready for the game.







I'm considering now what I should do next, the light walker mechs or the main battle tank?

It's 90 x 60 cm (or 2x3 feet). perfect for any table but also wide enough to allow "fronts" in the game!
