unto each generation a slayer is born....
« on: June 05, 2009, 09:51:08 PM »

My entry into the Guild's speed build (the theme was simply "female")
well i mean - who else is there??? :-*

The Buffy figure is from hasslefree miniatures (their adventurer range "Sadie")
the base has been removed, one leg has been cut and repositioned,
the head has been cut away from the crossbow and turned, both arms have been repositioned
and the crossbow has been "strung" with cotton.

the base is a pop bottle top cut to shape and stuck onto a fancy round 40mm base.
the gravestones are from the spares box (hovels)
as is the brass etched plantlife (hasslefree)
the zombie's head and outstretched arm are from westwind,
the rest is greenstuff... :good:

the WIP pictures and stuff can be found here on the guild in the members area; http://www.guildwargamers.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=8240&start=0

you can view all the entries so far here;
http://www.guildwargamers.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=210
you don't have to be a member to view this public area. ;)

cheers, rob.  8)

i wanted my buffy to look more like classic red leather trousers Buffy... :-*
so i added longer hair to at least try to get her to look like season 3 buffy!!!!!

Brilliant   :-*

I have that figure in my lead pile and I am a big Buffy fan.  In addition, Ganesha Games releases their horror game Fear and Faith very soon so I have been thinking about finally getting my Scoobies figures together.

Although it is a nice figure I never really married the Buffy character to it... until now :)

Do you plan to make the set?  If so I for one would really like to see...

Love it. The base work, as others have said, is fantastic. Like what you've done with Sadie too. She looks much more dynamic that the original.

Time to post a link to this on the FoD.
