dijit, I think they are too big if used as actual leaves, but I think they make for quite good low shrub or vegetation. I glued them down using the spray-glue method described above, then painted and drybrushed them. I'll post a close-up with a miniature as comparison later this week.

loki, you will :)

Work seems to progress slowly. I think I've reached this 80:20 point, where the remaining 20% of the work take up 80% of the total time...

Anyway, here are a few pictures of the more remarkable details.

Added marker posts to the roadsides. These are not entirely compliant with the StVO, but I don't really care. I'll probably add a speed limit sign with a few bullet holes as well.

Next is a small fuel tank made from the Platformer Chemical Plant set. Incredibly versatile, this stuff. My son used it to built some space ships and a mechanical elephant while I only built a boring tank :) Built pretty much out of the box, with just a few details added:

And finally a close-up of the birch seed scatter for dijit:

ahah! That looks pretty good when painted a different colour, it adds a little more texture and gives a good plant like effect.

You should post your kid's "mechanical elephant" on the VSF board… they’ll be all over it! lol

Last pictures for now, I need to concentrate on the rules for next weekend's game. Only two this time, but I hope to take some in-game pictures next weekend.

One of the signs I added. There are a few traffic signs as well, but I didn't take pictures of them.

As it turned out, I lost two segments on the way :D
