I quite like those plants… and your “for scale” blacksmith.

Ta Grumpy.
Digits is on the right track.
The casting was a gift from Vodkafan.
Why he would think of me (Bald, bearded surname Smith)
when he saw the figure I have no idea.  :D :D :D
Those that know me will not be surprised by the colour
scheme (Portsmouth FC) that I chose to paint it. :)

A bathysphere, picked up in a charity shop.
They wanted 10p I beat them up to £2.
The actual paint job was (fairly) quick, but
it has been waiting for some months to get
onto the paint table.

Thanks Marianas, I can see it sitting quietly in the corner
of the game until,  'We gotta get the hell out of here!'
At which point the players realise... Five of them, & room
for only two, at a squeeze, in the sphere.

Next lot of e-bay Sci-fi. They needed a repaint & halfway
through I fancied giving them an ink wash. They had been
bright red, so not red. I went with blue & when it dried
they shouted, 'Police!' at me. Here then are the planet's
finest, along with three robots axillaries. Might stop the
players opening fire on move one of every scenario. lol lol lol

Great stuff Pete. Love the weathering effects you get. Makes things look lived in so to speak. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing this stuff in games.

One of our group, Vodkafan, let me have another of his
cheap tanks. See earlier posts for the 4 I painted up.
A challenge had been issued about converting one into
something Sci-Fi.
Well here is the work involved.

The tank, it in bits, stuck back together (differently),
bits added, filler applied  & undercoated.

Next came the paint job, followed by shots of
the finished vehicle.
