Ta David. The two part idea was nicked from your two part field.

I’m sure I pinched it from somewhere else, but I agree, it gives a piece of scenery a lot of flexibility like that, nice one.

Hopefully I can get over for a game on it!

Now that is one fine looking African village! Ever thought of building a cave dwelling like the Inca or early Gibraltarian settlers?

Did you have anything specific in mind? Or just some generic caves?

The credit for that idea belongs to Flatpack, the new owner. I look forward
to him posting pictures with some pots outside the doors & with 20mm
troops moving through the village.

Coasting at the moment. Picked up some Hinchcliffe Austrians off e-bay.
Done some repairs, tart ups & rebasing. Just need to finish them off,
then I can use them in Napoleonic skirmishes.

Some minor repairs, a tart up & rebasing (oh, & giving each a name)
Now the Austrians are ready to play

I do think the Old figures, especially Hinchcliffe & Garrison,
have a nice style. It is also possible to pick them up for a
reasonable price from time to time.

I will keep an eye out. A chap at the local club recently did some old Hinchcliffe medieval minis and they reminded me for some reason of childhood.

They do look good in the cemetery - well done bringing them back from the dead.  lol

Thanks Golgotha.
Today two figures I did NOT paint. I did have some very minor
repair work to do, and I did rebase them. I now want to use
them for a 'Message must get through' Napoleonic skirmish
game.

Thanks Gregor. Sometimes I need to remind myself
of what I have finished, rather than looking negatively
at all there still is to do.
Be assured, the Lead Mountain IS shrinking!  :D :D :D

Pete
Added pots, shrubs, and a little smoke to your fantastic village that you kindly made for me.

Thanks again.
