You lost me guys!   🥴

A little detailing.  I’m pleased how the drainage channel worked out.   Any water would quickly evaporate so a simple green/brown wash to mark the channels.

Next terrain piece will be the archeological site, once the bits arrive.

Doug McClure starred in a lot of 'B' movies where they fought dinosaurs in jungles.
Parodied in the Simpsons where his character's first words are, ' You probably know me...'

The iconic movie role for Doug McClure:

Of course, he is probably most remembered for his long running role in the TV series The Virginian.

His was a Very Recognizable face, for sure.

But that movie poster is penultimate Pulp I suppose.  And come to think of it, subtract the dinosaurs and you get close to my Pulp game I'm putting together: The Great and Terrible Schlong of Kong Disaster.  All the figures washed, all the bases pre-prepped.  Painting figures and, biggest task, building terrain up next.

Awww…shucks!

Miss Postie just handed me a parcel from Scotia Grendel….a couple of of tomb entrances and some broken pillar.   Think I will set this open tomb into a cliff face and structure the scaffold about it.

I also received these pla printed ladders.    Not sure about the big nail / peg at each rung…I think they need removing and rope substituting!  😫. Still…solid enough ladders as a basis.

The main bad guys in my foreseen pulp story will be my Bedouin Tribe.  The first few guys are ready.

Left to right…..Yasir Usama Babi, their leader Sheik Jabuti and Yahya Asif.

Mustafa Shufti and Yaseen Omar.

I make no apologies for their names!

My old sparring partner Brian is coming to stay in a few weeks and we are thinking of adapting our rules for Vulture Creek for this……we shall see.

Now this is clever.  Most excellent terrain.

No need to apologize for the names but I do think you got one slightly wrong, I do believe Sheik Jabuti should be Sheik Yerbuti - if you want to get it proper and aligned with a slightly different phrase.  A late friend used that name for one of his regular appearing characters.  Dance terms anyone?   o_o lol

Really nice painting on those figures.  I think I may have seen the striped skull cap dude at a bob sled race.
