She is great! So unusual, and on the face of it quite vulnerable in a battle. But her expression is so calm and steely I think many normally brave warriors will be unsettled...

Managed to kitbash some archers that fit the look I'm going for. At first I had no thought to add bows to the Victrix bodies as they are so dynamic in pose but then I saw someone had done it on a Rangers of Shadow Deep group so I gave it a go and came up with some (in my opinion) pretty decent archery poses. I've tried to pose quivers to explain some of the strangers poses as drawing arrows. All parts are either Victrix or Oathmark.

Those are super dynamic! Hadn't considered using the Oathmark arms on Victrix, that's inspired. Did you find any issues making them align properly?

They acctually align really well on the torsos that take full length arms, so shoulder width seems to match really well. I tried Fireforge Northmen bow arms but they were much trickier.

Of course a lot of the Victrix models have upper arms molded on their torsos so I have done a bunch of cutting on several of these to make more natural fits. For example the guy in the gambesson i nthe second row has his oathmark arms cut down to fit onto the gambesson sleeves.

These look great! The green-stuff elbows for drawing arrows turned out great too, probably a good idea to stop them becoming contortionists!

Also managed to get these Soldiers finished today (or yesterday mostly, just had to rebase the Officer so that his cloak would allow ranking up behind). I posted the builds earlier, but the main thing is that I cut Victrix weapons and hands onto Oathmark arms. I was a little worried about making these and Spearmen before seeing the rules, just in case one was much better than the other but I think that there is a place for both. Soldiers are cheaper and only miss out on a little defense against charging cavalry.

I've had this model for a while, from Bad Squiddo's shieldmaiden kickstarter. I love the artwork that it's based on (Frey by Johan Egerkrans) but struggled to find a home for her in a project. I've rebased the model three times with different games in mind and it seems third time is the charm. Oathmark has a monster called Indriks, which are supposed to be wooly Rhinos, but the stats fit a giant boar pretty well.

If I end up playing Saga: Age of Magic with these same models she could also be a Warlord on beast.

Got the Barbarian kitbash painted. He may see some action in Rangers of Shadow Deep if I get around to playing solo at some point.

He's a kitbash of GW Kairic Acoloyte, Vicrix viking and Frostgrave barbarian.

Some great additions over the last couple of updates mate, that deep red really works well en masse, and the barbarian is possibly your best kit bash yet.

 :)
