The collection is made up from Redoubt, BT, Foundry and Newline Design Miniatures, all are pretty compatible

A Mycenaean Raiding Party ravages an Egyptian settlement in the Upper Nile Region.

Big game hunting in Ancient Egypt. Ancient wargaming has seen a decline in interest over the last few years, but I remain a big fan. Having always fancied a collection set around Pharaoh Thutmose III's reign, this is my gentle start into the period.

That is a cracking collection!

What rules are you using for the lion hunt?

I doubt whether a Mycenean pirate party would attempt to fight its way to the upper Nile. That's a long way from the ships for raiders to go.
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.

Having, several times, seen the Assyrian Lion hunt
displays in the British Museum, I have long had a
hankering to do similar.

Alas, the big game hunting reference is just a play on words. It simply refers to my preference for big battle games.

Really, is that the best negative comment you can come up with, you need to try harder mate.

LAF is not TMP, its a forum for people with positive attitudes, give it a try, it may enrich your wargaming experience 😘

Probably means upper in the sense of furthest North in the Delta rather than closest to the source, in this case anyway.

Great looking models non-the-less!
