18th century sci-fi/fantasy films
« on: 24 June 2020, 08:57:46 PM »
This is probably the wrong place, I had considered putting this thread on fantasy or adventures in the far east, but here goes.

If you are keen on odd 18th century skirmishes I've just seen a DVD called "The Iron Mask", Jason Flemyng, Jackie Chan, Schwarzenegger, and an assortment of Russians and Chinese in a story featuring a dragon, tea, cossacks, Peter the Great, and some bizarre 18th century style mechanical contraptions.

It's a sequel to "Viy/Forbidden Kingdom" (based on a Gogol story) which sees Flemyng drawing maps in the Carpathian mountains.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)
